Carrying the Flame for Juan

Carrying the Flame for Juan
Today, I’m not just a wife—I’m a woman clinging to a shattered heart and a flickering hope.

My Juan, my brave firefighter, rushed into danger to save lives, as he always has. He left with his warm smile and a soft “I’ll be back soon.”
Now he fights silently in a hospital bed—intubated, unconscious, yet still so strong.
I hold his hand and whisper through tears: “Come back to us. Keep fighting.”

If this reaches you, please send a prayer, a kind thought, a burst of love.
He’s carried the flame for strangers—now let’s hold it high for him.
