The film’s tone balances terror and absurdity perfectly. Wan’s direction transforms haunted corridors into surreal battlefields of shadow and light, while composer Benjamin Wallfisch scores the chaos with eerie lullabies that curdle into orchestral fury. It’s both hilarious and horrifying — a dance between nightmare and satire.

When Chucky reluctantly teams up with Detective Myers to destroy the Codex, the story takes a sharp turn. Their uneasy alliance — “I don’t work with humans, lady,” he snarls — injects unexpected depth and wit. Annabelle, however, transcends vengeance, becoming something far more dangerous: a vengeful angel of chaos whose motives are no longer bound by the cult’s control.

The final act is pure spectacle. In the burning ruins of the orphanage, Chucky and Annabelle clash one last time — a whirlwind of fire, blood, and levitating debris. When Myers recites the final incantation, the dolls’ souls collide in a blinding explosion of crimson light. Silence follows. Then — faintly — laughter.
