IRON MAN 4

Rating: 4.5/5 One More Light
After years of rumors, denials, and “he’s never coming back,” Robert Downey Jr. dons the metal suit one last time in Iron Man 4: Legacy of the Arc. And somehow, against all odds, it’s not a cash grab. It’s a eulogy.
The film doesn’t undo Endgame. Tony Stark is dead. Instead, the story follows a teenage girl named Riri Williams (a phenomenal breakout performance) who discovers she has inherited more than just Stark Industries stock. Using a combination of stolen tech and her own genius, she builds a suit to stop a new threat: a resurrected A.I. version of Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges, voicing a digital ghost) who has taken control of Stark’s old satellite defense system.

RDJ appears only in pre-recorded hologram messages and flashbacks, but his presence looms over every frame. The film is about legacy, grief, and the impossible task of filling a hero’s shoes. When Riri finally stands in front of a broken suit, whispering “I’m not you,” it’s genuinely moving. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker shows up for a cameo that will make you cry, offering Riri the same mentorship Tony once gave him.
The Verdict: A heartfelt passing of the torch that honors the past while building the future. Iron Man lives on.
Final Thought: Proof that the suit doesn’t make the hero. The heart does.
