BRIDGERTON SEASON 4

Rating: 4.5/5 Scandalous Secrets

Netflix’s most addictive period drama returns with Bridgerton Season 4, and this time, the focus shifts to the two siblings we’ve been waiting for: Francesca and Gregory.

Season 4 takes a bold narrative risk, splitting its time between two love stories. Francesca (a breakout performance), now a widow, returns to the marriage market with a heavy heart, only to find herself torn between a respectable suitor and a mysterious artist who sees past her grief. Meanwhile, the youngest Bridgerton, Gregory, enters society for the first time, naive and romantic, convinced he’ll find love at first sight. Spoiler: it doesn’t go well.

The season is darker than previous ones, exploring grief, societal pressure, and the difference between love and infatuation. Lady Whistledown (still Nicola Coughlan, sharp as ever) has new secrets to expose, and Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) steals every scene she’s in. The costumes are, as always, a fever dream of pastel perfection.

The Verdict: A mature, emotional, and swoon-worthy season that proves Bridgerton still has plenty of secrets left to spill.

Final Thought: Love waits for no one. Not even the ton.
