Logan 2

Rating: 5/5 Tears and Claws
This is a teaser trailer review, not a full film.
The internet collectively broke when the first teaser for Logan 2 dropped. After the masterpiece that was Logan (2017), fans swore they didn’t want a sequel. But then they saw the trailer. And now they need it.
The teaser opens on a black screen. The sound of a child breathing. Then a voice—gruff, familiar, older: “I thought I was done.” Cut to Hugh Jackman’s Logan, older than we’ve ever seen him, gray-haired and weary, living in a small house by the sea. He’s alone. He’s at peace. Then a knock at the door. A young girl stands there—Laura (Dafne Keen), now a woman. She’s not alone. Behind her stands a boy, maybe 12 years old, with the same wild eyes. “He’s like us,” Laura says. “They’re coming for him.”

The trailer cuts between quiet moments—Logan teaching the boy to control his claws, sharing a meal, staring at the sunset—and explosive action. A convoy of trucks. A forest chase. Claws ripping through metal. The final shot: Logan, standing in the rain, looking at his hands. The camera pans up to his face. He smiles. Not a happy smile. A “one last time” smile.
The Verdict: If the full movie is half as good as this teaser, we’re looking at another masterpiece. Jackman is back. And we’re not ready.
Final Thought: Old man Logan. New girl Laura. Same claws. New tears.
