Texas Boy Severely Burned After TikTok Experiment Goes Terribly Wrong

What began as an afternoon of laughter between two brothers turned into a life-altering tragedy for 12-year-old Caden Ballard. The Texas boy was attempting a popular TikTok experiment when, in a split second, the situation spiraled out of control.

According to Caden, the flames initially appeared to have gone out. Believing the danger had passed, he reached down to throw the remnants away. “It looked like the fire had gone out,” he said in a recent interview. “So I grabbed it to throw it in the trash can, and my shirt was on fire.”
