A Different Kind of Christmas 🤍

Christmas looks a little different for us this year.

While many homes are warm and quiet 🏠✨,
my husband is on shift — standing shoulder to shoulder with his brothers 🚒🤝.
Instead of twinkling lights and family dinners, there are radios, gear, and readiness.

They miss moments with their families
so others can feel safe tonight 🛡️🤍.
They answer the calls no one hopes to make —
and often prevent the ones that never come 📞🙏.

I’m deeply grateful for every sacrifice,
every late night,
every silent promise to show up when the world needs them most.

Time has a way of teaching us what truly matters ⏳💭.
Not perfection. Not tradition as we imagine it.
But love, service, and the quiet courage of those who protect strangers as if they were family.

Tonight, this is it ❤️🕊️.
