Carried Through the Storm π€π

My name is Nora Bennett π€.
In 2010, a flood in Nashville changed my life forever π.
I was six years old.
I remember the water rising.
The sound of sirens π¨.
And a small, frightened prayer whispered through tears β
Godβ¦ where are You? π

Thatβs when a woman in scrubs knelt down in front of me.
Her name was Marianne Foster.
She was a nurse π©Ί.
She looked me in the eyes and said,
βYouβre safe now.β π€

She carried me through the flood.
And when the water receded, she didnβt disappear.
She came back every day β with snacks π, clean socks π§¦, and comfort when the nights felt too long.
Months later, she did something that changed everything.
She adopted me π‘π.

God didnβt stop the flood.
But He carried me through it β through her β¨.
Today, I wear the same uniform π©Ί.
Because even in the worst storms, God is still God.
Always ππ€.
