Aruna and Kiraz Rodrigues were born joined together 🤍👶👶, their lives connected from their very first breath. Determined to give them a chance, their parents left everything behind and sought help at HECAD Hospital 🏥.

After more than a year of careful preparation, a rare and complex surgery took place in May 2025. Over 60 doctors worked for 19 hours, fighting to separate the twins and give each of them a life of her own ✨🩺.

The surgery was successful — but the joy was heartbreakingly brief. Kiraz passed away days later 🕊️💔.

Aruna continued to fight on in the ICU 🤍. For a moment, there was hope — she improved and was moved to a regular ward 🌱. Then infection and a virus struck 🦠, forcing her back into intensive care.

On December 24, 2025, at 3:51 p.m., Aruna died from septic shock 🕯️💔.
