THANK YOU, Rob β and to every firefighter still standing watch.
After 38 years of service, I hang up my helmet πͺ
Every alarm meant urgency.
Every call carried risk.
And every step into the fire was taken with a prayer π₯βοΈ
There were long nights, missed moments, and calls that stayed heavy on the heart.
But through every blaze and every rescue, God was present β
steadying my hands, protecting my crew, and giving strength when it was needed most π€
I retire with deep gratitude for the privilege to serve,
pride in a brotherhood built on courage and sacrifice,
and unwavering respect for those who will continue to answer the call π
All glory to God, who stood with me through every fire.
