Spider-Man 4

Rating: 5/5 Web of Darkness
Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker in *Spider-Man 4: Symbiote War*, a film that finally delivers the crossover fans have been waiting for. Tom Hardy’s Venom joins the fray, and the result is the most emotional Spider-Man film yet.
The film picks up after the events of No Way Home. Peter is alone, living in a rundown apartment, trying to be Spider-Man without anyone knowing who he is. But when a fragment of the Venom symbiote (left behind after No Way Home) bonds with him, Peter gains incredible power—but at a terrible cost. The symbiote amplifies his rage, his loneliness, his darkness. Meanwhile, Eddie Brock (Hardy) arrives in New York, searching for his lost other half.

Holland delivers his best performance as Peter, capturing the weight of his isolation. Hardy is brilliant as Eddie, a man who understands what it’s like to be consumed. The film explores the nature of darkness and whether a hero can truly be good. The final battle—Peter fighting the symbiote within himself—is devastating.
The Verdict: A masterpiece. The best Spider-Man film since Spider-Verse. Holland and Hardy are perfect together.
Final Thought: With great power comes great responsibility. With great darkness comes great cost.
