Seven people were injured Friday morning after a Metro bus and two cars collided in Reseda, marking the second serious crash involving an LA bus in the San Fernando Valley in recent days.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said crews were called to the 18300 block of West Sherman Way around 9:47 a.m.

Six people were transported to local hospitals, while one person declined medical transport, according to LAFD.

No updates on their conditions were immediately available.

When firefighters arrived, they found three vehicles involved, including the Metro bus.

The reason for the crash remains under investigation.

LAPD will be investigating the crash.

The crash comes after an SUV driver slammed into a Metro bus in Chatsworth Tuesday, killing two and leading an NBC4 news helicopter covering the wreck to plunge from the sky. Pilot George Marciniw and reporter Eliana Moreno, were killed in the helicopter crash.

The SUV driver was found with drugs in her possession after the crash, investigators said.

Bailee Lynn Rios, 36, was discovered with

suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on her following the deadly Tuesday wreck, sources with knowledge of the investigation told the California Post.

She was was charged with two counts of second degree murder.

Rios barreled through a Chatsworth intersection in her Ford Expedition at a high rate of speed Tuesday, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said at a press conference Thursday.

She faces a maximum sentence of life behind bars if convicted, he said.

Hochman called the deaths caused by Rios preventable.
