TWO women have been killed after a driver allegedly mowed them down at a crosswalk as they walked home from a World Cup watch party — with the whole thing caught on camera.

Mariana Elizabeth Valverde Beltran, 58, and Maria Isabel DeLosAngeles Salgado Ayala, 61, were crossing the intersection in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday.

Surveillance footage captured the moment the women were hit as they crossed the street

A car barreled through and struck them both, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The women were taken to University Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

David J. Zapata-Vera, 26, of Newark turned himself in to police three days after the crash.

Surveillance video shows the car blasting through the intersection, hitting both women and launching them into the air, ABC affiliate WABC reported.

“The light was changing, this side was red, this side was yellow, I don’t know if he was drunk, but anyway he put the gas and that’s what happens,” witness Manuel Candelaria told the outlet.

Firefighters from a nearby station sprinted to the scene to help the stricken women.

“You have to live with this for the rest of your life. I hope the person is found but also for that person it’s something you have to live with for the rest of your life, it’s on your conscience,” Jeffrey Chacon, Beltran’s cousin, said.

“My dad is managing his emotions with trying to contact everyone in Ecuador, her sisters, her son.”

According to an obituary, Beltran spent much of her career as a bank teller, where she was known for her integrity and work ethic.

“Above all else, Mariana cherished her family,” the obituary said.

“She was a devoted mother whose love, guidance, and unwavering support will forever remain in the heart of her beloved son, Leonardo Esteban Alvarez Valverde.

“Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew her.”

Salgado Ayala spent her life as a homemaker, pouring her energy into raising her family and building a home defined by warmth and love, according to her obituary.

“She was a loving mother whose greatest joy came from watching her children grow and supporting them through every stage of life,” the obituary said.

“Her love was steadfast, selfless, and unconditional — a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.”

Zapata-Vera faces two counts each of second-degree vehicular homicide, second-degree leaving the scene of a fatal accident, and third-degree endangering an injured victim, officials said.
