Ventura’s aunt, Liliana Lopez, started the GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses, return her body to Guatemala and support her 1-year-old daughter.
She added that currently the family has “little local support available” because all of her family is living in Guatemala. The GoFundMe has a fundraising goal of $13,000.
“We currently don’t have anything for her daughter, and any contribution– no matter how small– would mean the world to us,” Lopez wrote. Your support will help ensure that her daughter received the care and stability she needs.”
