Lance Twiggs reveals Tyler Robinson confessed to Charlie Kirk’s murder after sneaking back to their love nest

Charlie Kirk’s accused killer Tyler Robinson confessed three times to murdering the conservative leading light, according to a bombshell video from Robinson’s trans lover — including after he sneaked back to their Utah love nest.
Lance Twiggs, who was seen speaking publicly for the first time Thursday in a pre-recorded deposition, told investigators he awoke the day after the Sept. 10 assassination to Robinson walking around their apartment, before he broke down and declared he “wishes he hadn’t done it” and that he was about to turn himself in.

Robinson’s confessions, in a letter to Twiggs, text messages and in person — all shown in court during a preliminary hearing — offered the strongest picture yet of how the accused lone gunman described carrying out the murder at Utah Valley University and even made crude jokes about it.

Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika, pleaded with the judge for the full public release of Twiggs’ interview with prosecutors — arguing it would end the noxious conspiracy theories about the Turning Point USA founder’s murder.
She broke down in tears in the courtroom as callous text messages that Robinson sent to Twiggs — whom he called by his trans furry name “Luna” — were read out.

In one missive, Robinson, 23, mused that his grandfather’s old .30-06 hunting rifle “does just fine.” He also joked about seeing a crude trans sex meme he carved into the ammo on Fox News, according to the exchange.
Robinson, who has sat stoically through the proceedings all week, appeared stressed as the video of his lover came on screen, nervously touching his forehead.
Twiggs — who is not accused of any wrongdoing — was granted limited immunity for his testimony by the US Attorney’s Office and the Utah County Attorney’s Office.
He showed up to the deposition in a coat and tie, but was casually chewing gum as he described the harrowing events — until he was told to spit it out.

Twiggs was Robinson’s roommate and lover in the town of St. George — located about three hours from Utah Valley University.
Twiggs, 22, said he first got to know Robinson when he moved into his apartment as a roommate, and the arrangement soon blossomed into a romance that revolved around their love of video games and an insider chatroom on a private Discord server.
The first confession came immediately after Kirk was killed in front of thousands of people at an event in UVU in Orem.

Twiggs described getting what was apparently a pre-scheduled text message from Robinson shortly after the killing telling him, “drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.”
“what????????????” Twiggs responded, followed by “you’re joking right????”
“F*** I TRIED TO DELETE THAT,” Robinson allegedly responded.
There, Twiggs found a letter from Robinson addressed to “Luna” in which the accused killer said “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”

Later, during text exchanges Robinson further talked about the shooting and his attempts to retrieve the bolt-action Mauser rifle that ditched as fled the scene, according to prosecutors.
“shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. to be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you,” Robinson allegedly wrote.
“you werent the one who did it right????” Twiggs responded, to which Robinson allegedly replied, “I am, I’m sorry.”
Finally, Twiggs described Robinson’s alleged regret when they spoke in person on Sept. 11 — one day after Kirk was killed.
“Did he talk about what he had done?” McBride asked.
“Didn’t go into detail… I just asked him in person if what he said was true the night before, and he said it was… started crying a little bit, and said he wishes he hadn’t done it,” Twiggs said during the recorded interview with investigators.

“…Eventually he said he would talk to his parents or turn himself over,” he said.
Robinson rarely spoke about LGBTQ+ issues and was more interested in Trump and his policies, Twiggs said near the end of his video testimony.
“I personally had never heard him talk about Charlie Kirk before specifically,” Twiggs said.

Twiggs also testified that — around one month before Kirk’s death, at most — Robinson asked if they had a Dremel engraver tool.
“I don’t remember exactly when, but he had said he was planning to go hunting with his family and he asked me… if we had like a Dremel, because he said he wanted to engrave messages on bullets,” he said.

A state investigator said Twiggs’ testimony matched an early police interview conducted on September 12, 2025.
Twiggs was shown personal texts, Discord messages, and a handwritten note allegedly from Robinson, said Brian Davis of the Utah State Bureau of Investigation.
Charlie Kirk, was fatally shot in the neck during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.
Robinson’s defense had pushed to keep media from broadcasting the video and text messages out of court, arguing that they would violate their client’s rights and prejudice the jury pool.
Erika Kirk joined prosecutors in urging the court to let the exhibits be shown in full.
“The Kirk family has waited 10 months for this hearing… They have a right to see and feel what’s going on in this courtroom,” attorney Jeffrey Neiman said to the judge.
“To be here and not to see the evidence — what’s the point of being here?”

The Kirk family has sought to finally shut down rampant conspiracy theories from influencer Candace Owens and others surrounding Charlie Kirk’s death.
Videos prosecutors showed in court Tuesday allegedly trace Robinson’s exact movements at Utah Valley University on the day of the shooting.

Prosecutors also presented FBI analysis they claim links Robinson with DNA on a towel used to hide the rifle.
DNA likely matching both him and Twiggs was also found on a screwdriver left where Robinson allegedly positioned himself for the fatal shot, witnesses testified in the hearing set to end on Friday.
Robinson, now 23, has not yet entered a plea. He faces the death penalty if convicted.
