Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Part 2

Rating: 4.5/5 Darkseid’s Reckoning
After the cult phenomenon that was Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), fans demanded more. Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Part 2 delivers, continuing the epic saga with the scope, ambition, and darkness that Snyder fans love.
The film picks up in the Knightmare timeline. Darkseid has conquered Earth. Superman, corrupted by the Anti-Life Equation, rules as a tyrant. Batman (Ben Affleck) leads a ragtag resistance—Joker (Jared Leto), Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello), and a broken Cyborg (Ray Fisher)—in a desperate plan to send the Flash (Ezra Miller) back in time to warn Bruce before everything went wrong.

Snyder’s visual style is in full effect: slow-motion, desaturated colors, and operatic violence. The cast is committed, with Leto’s Joker finally getting the screentime his weird interpretation deserves. The action is spectacular, with a final battle that rivals Endgame in scale. The film ends on a cliffhanger that sets up Part 3 perfectly.
The Verdict: A massive, ambitious, imperfect epic. Snyder fans will love it. Everyone else will be confused. But that’s the point.
Final Thought: In a world without hope, heroes are all we have. Even broken ones.
