Titanic 2: The Return of Jack

The internet exploded when the first teaser for Titanic 2: The Return of Jack dropped. For decades, fans have theorized about how Jack could have survived. Now, it seems someone at Paramount decided to answer that question.

The teaser opens on a black screen. The sound of water. Then, a voice—familiar, young, James Horner’s score swelling in the background: “I promised her I’d never let go.” Cut to a hand breaking the surface of the icy Atlantic. A gasp. A man—young, wet, freezing—pulls himself onto a piece of wreckage. It’s Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio). He survived.

The teaser cuts through time: Jack in a hospital, learning that Rose was rescued but believing him dead. Jack building a new life, but never forgetting. Jack, now an old man, sitting by a window, looking at a necklace—the Heart of the Ocean. The final shot: an elderly Rose (Kate Winslet) opening her door to find an elderly Jack standing there. “I told you I’d find you,” he says. She smiles. The screen goes black.

The Verdict: Is this necessary? Absolutely not. Will we watch it? With tissues. Lots of tissues.

Final Thought: Jack is back. And we’re not ready.
