We witness the rise of the Primes, the betrayal of Megatronus (who would become The Fallen), and the awakening of Unicron, the planet-eating god who threatens all creation. The story is told through the eyes of a young Orion Pax (who will become Optimus Prime) and his brother, Megatron, before their falling out.

The animation is stunning, with Cybertron rendered in breathtaking detail. The voice cast is exceptional, bringing depth to characters we’ve only glimpsed before. The film explores themes of brotherhood, betrayal, and the cost of power. The final act—Unicron’s awakening—is epic in scale.
