Haunting new Lindsay Clancy video shows mom enjoying water park vacation with kids before she strangled all 3 to death

HAUNTING new footage has shown Lindsay Clancy laughing and splashing around with her three young children at an indoor water park just days before prosecutors say she strangled them to death.
The heartbreaking video was played to jurors on the opening day of the Massachusetts mom’s murder trial as she faced her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, in court for the first time.

Security footage shown in court captured what appeared to be an ordinary family day out at the Cape Codder indoor water park just nine days before the killings.
The chilling clips showed Clancy smiling as she rode a twisting enclosed waterslide with five-year-old daughter Cora before the pair splashed into the pool together.
Other moments showed the family wandering around the attraction in swimsuits, with Clancy appearing relaxed and engaged with her children as they explored the water park.
Jurors also saw the family walking together through the resort, while Patrick carried eight-month-old Callan and the couple kept close to three-year-old Dawson as the youngsters enjoyed the trip.
The haunting footage was played while Patrick took the witness stand and described how his then-wife appeared to be improving after months of severe mental health struggles.
“Lindsay was always able to interact with our kids,” he told jurors.

Patrick, who has since remarried and moved to New York, testified that Clancy “seemed to be doing a lot better” during the family getaway despite having twice been hospitalized for suicidal thoughts just weeks earlier.
The Microsoft employee remained largely composed throughout his emotional testimony before becoming visibly upset when prosecutors displayed a photograph of Cora smiling in a shirt bearing the word “Love” with a matching red skirt and bow.
Clancy, now paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair after allegedly attempting suicide by jumping from a second-story window following the killings, sobbed as jurors watched the family video and photographs.
She has admitted killing Cora, Dawson and baby Callan on January 24, 2023, but denies murder on the grounds that she was allegedly suffering from postpartum psychosis.
Her lawyers claim she had desperately sought help in the months before the deaths, seeing multiple doctors and being prescribed at least 15 psychiatric medications between September 2022 and the day before the killings.
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington argued Clancy repeatedly sought treatment before the tragedy unfolded.

The mom also allegedly heard a chilling five-word command before killing her three kids

Her ex-husband Patrick testified she seemed to be improving despite mental health struggles

“This is a woman who dedicated her life to nothing other than helping others, being the best nurse and best mom,” he told jurors.
He added: “This is not a righteous prosecution.”
The defense has claimed Clancy later told doctors she heard a terrifying command before allegedly killing her children.
Patrick has also claimed in a wrongful death lawsuit that Clancy believed she was hearing “a compelling and unrecognizable singular male voice” telling her “this is your last chance” and that she had to “take them” with her.
According to Reddington, the male voice told her: “This is your last chance. Kill the children so you can kill yourself.
Prosecutors reject the insanity defense and insist Clancy was fully aware of what she was doing.
“This case is about the Lindsay Clancy on Jan. 24, 2023 — at the time of the crimes. This was not a woman in the throes of psychosis … this is a woman who acted intentionally, rationally and swiftly with a very specific goal — to kill,” prosecutor Shanan Buckingham told the court.
Patrick also revealed his ex-wife’s mental health had steadily deteriorated after the birth of Callan.
He said her anxiety centered on returning to work after maternity leave and leaving the children, adding she “kept getting worse and worse” despite taking antidepressants and the family hiring a nanny.
By December 2022, he told jurors Clancy had entered a “big spiral” after starting antipsychotic medication.
“She started to say she was suicidal” and “described thoughts of hurting the kids or them having some sort of ailment,” Patrick testified, although he said she insisted she had no plan to harm them.
Jurors were also shown selfies Clancy allegedly took during one of her psychiatric hospital stays, including one wearing a medical mask in a hospital room and another showing her legs beneath a blanket.
The defense, meanwhile, displayed graphic images of Clancy after her failed suicide attempt, showing her attached to a breathing tube with severe injuries.
Patrick has since divorced Clancy, married fertility specialist Dr. Rachel Danis and moved to Manhattan, though he has repeatedly urged the public to show compassion toward his former wife.
He has also since founded the mental health charity Heard with Love in memory of his children and has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against several medical providers who treated Clancy before the tragedy.
Clancy has also launched her own lawsuit alleging doctors and therapists failed to properly diagnose and treat her psychiatric illness before the killings.
The trial, which is expected to last up to two months, could hear from as many as 200 witnesses as jurors decide whether Clancy was legally insane when her three young children were killed.
