Disturbing footage of missing personal trainer Elena Moore, 39, who vanished six days ago after leaving gym

A MISSING fitness instructor appears confused in eerie new footage captured by a neighbor who claims she pretended to be a Doordash delivery worker a week before she vanished.

Elena Moore, 39, was last seen walking through a parking lot on June 11, after leaving a nearby Planet Fitness in Lexington, South Carolina.

Elena Moore is a successful fitness instructor and was active on social media in recent weeks

She is then seen with the bag of food and receipt as she knocks on the neighbor’s door

Elena Moore is then seen trying to enter the apartment and is met by Burleson’s partner

The personal trainer appears in images, released by authorities, wearing an olive-green zip-up hoodie with black athletic pants and sneakers.

Investigators said she signed in at Planet Fitness at 6:40pm. and was later seen walking away from the building toward a wooded area behind a Lowe’s store.

The last known sighting of her was at 9:17pm as she was strolling across the lot.

The Lexington Police Department searched the wooded area but found no trace of Elena.

They have since released a photograph of her captured on a front door camera a week before she was reported missing.

It is not clear what day it was taken as Elena is seen wearing a black top and pants.

The U.S. Sun has obtained full footage from the same apartment complex from neighbor Sarah Burleson, who claims Elena was acting bizarrely outside of Burleson’s unit.

She recognized the bracelet, sunglasses and nails matched those on Elena’s recent Facebook post and contacted police.

Burleson alleged Elena met with a Doordash delivery woman who was bringing food to the apartment.

Elena, wearing shades and black clothing with white sneakers, is seen taking a large white bag and a receipt from the worker, who then took a photo of her.

The video shows Elena then knocking on the door and delivering the order herself.

It is not clear if she definitely lives in the same building.

Burleson claims that Elena tried to enter her property and seemed “confused”.

The footage shows her being greeted by a man, Burleson’s partner, who takes the food before Elena backs off and looks around before walking off down the hallway.

Minutes later, she was allegedly spotted sitting in front of another unit in the complex.

When asked what she was doing, Burleson claimed Elena told her she didn’t know.

The South Carolina woman was seen at a Planet Fitness on June 11 clocking in at 6:30pm

Elena Moore was then seen hours later walking across a Publix parking lot at 9:17pm

“Something seemed very off and I really hope she turns up safe and sound,” Burleson told The U.S. Sun.

“For the past week we thought it was a crazy Doordash experience.

“We have it set for no contact delivery so the food is to be set down take a pic and leave.

“When the ring camera goes off twice is when he [her partner] goes to answer the door and I click live on the ring camera and watch the interaction.

“We did not even know at first that the white woman was not our Doordash lady.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Lexington Police Department for further comment.

Officials have not commented on Elena’s mental state, but claim she is not in immediate danger.

Her husband, Brannon Slice, a licensed private investigator and former police officer, officially reported her missing on June 12.

He has been bombarded with comments on Facebook after not sharing information on social media about her disappearance.

According to Fox News, he wrote in a comment on a since-deleted post that his wife is “not well.”

The Lexington Police Department is still actively searching for Elena.

She is described as a white female, 5’07 in height and approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said Elena works at Wolf’s Fitness Center and as a pharmacy technician and that her disappearance is “out of character”.

She is said to regularly work out at Planet Fitness.

Elena, who was last active on social media in April, had a phone with her at one point, but authorities say it’s unclear if she still has the device and they are attempting to track it.

“Cellphone carriers often take time responding to search warrants,” a police spokesperson told USA Today.

Authorities say they do not suspect foul play in her disappearance and don’t think she is in imminent danger.

Lauren Beasley, a friend of Elena’s, told Fox News she spoke to her a month ago and she appeared normal during their interactions.

“She did not say anything personal about anything she was going through. She got married last year, but she didn’t say anything about her relationship or work or anything personal,” Beasley said.
