FEARS are rising for twin siblings abducted by their father in Los Angeles County, according to police.

Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick, 9, have been missing for over 96 hours – and their father, David Sukonick, 71, is accused of being behind their capture.

They were described as “at risk” in an urgent appeal issued by LA County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, asking for the public’s help to trace them.

Authorities said the children were taken on Thursday, warning that there is concern for their wellbeing.

They were last seen around 8 pm near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster.

Their father was last seen behind the wheel of a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car with California license plate SOLOYST.

The motive behind the alleged kidnapping remains unclear so far.

According to the New York Post, their father shared a photo of the brother and sister on Facebook on July 13.

One commenter questioned the state of mind of the children, writing that they looked “miserable.”

Urging anyone with information to come forward, a police statement said: “Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station Detectives are asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Children, Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick.

“There is concern for their well-being and we are asking for the public’s help.”

Little Marozhina is described as 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white shirt and pink shorts.

Meanwhile, her brother, Solomon Sukonick, is also described as 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue shorts and a shirt of unknown colour.

Their father weighs 135 pounds and is described as being 5 feet and 7 inches tall. He has green eyes and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing black pants, a white shirt and a blue bandana.
