Dolly Parton is being remembered in an unexpected and wonderfully fitting way this fall: through enormous corn mazes shaped in her likeness across the United States and Canada.

Twenty farms have created elaborate mazes celebrating the country music legend, with many also raising money for Parton’s Imagination Library, the literacy program that provides free books to children.

A Tribute Already in the Works

The corn mazes were planned months before Parton passed away on Aug. 25 at age 80.

The project is part of an annual tradition by Utah-based The Maize Inc., which has previously created tributes to other country stars, including Reba McEntire, Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson.

But after Parton’s passing, the 2026 mazes took on an even more emotional meaning.

The company says her impact and connection to farming made her a natural choice for this year’s tribute.

Dolly’s Face in a Field of Corn

One of the most striking tributes can be found at Twins BBQ in Brookfield, Connecticut.

The five-acre maze features a giant portrait of Parton, complete with her famous hairstyle, along with the words “Dolly” and “An American Treasure.”

Visitors can make their way through the maze while also taking part in Dolly-themed trivia and photo opportunities.

Across the country, similar tributes can be found in roughly a dozen states and two Canadian provinces.

Turning a Tribute Into Something for Children

The mazes are not only about celebrating Parton’s music and career.

Many of the participating farms are helping raise money for her Imagination Library, continuing a cause that was especially meaningful throughout her life.

The program has provided free books to children, allowing Parton’s legacy to reach families far beyond the world of entertainment.
