Travis Kelce Is ‘Obsessed’ With His Dog Wendy — And Treats Her Like a Child

NEW YORK — Travis Kelce may be one of the NFL’s biggest stars, but these days, it appears there is one little family member who gets most of his attention: Wendy, the fluffy Samoyed he shares with wife Taylor Swift.

A source close to the couple tells PEOPLE that Kelce is “pretty obsessed” with Wendy and treats her “like a child.”

Wendy Has Quickly Become Travis’ Favorite Companion

The one-year-old Samoyed has reportedly become especially attached to Kelce, and the feeling appears to be mutual.

“He absolutely adores Wendy,” the source said, adding that Travis is very much her person and brings her with him whenever he can.

The couple had reportedly discussed getting a dog before welcoming Wendy into their family, and she has now become a major part of their lives.

From Private Family Member to Fashion Star

Although Kelce and Swift kept Wendy mostly out of the public eye for some time, that changed dramatically when the pup made her modeling debut alongside Travis.

Wendy appeared in Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign, filmed at New York City’s Plaza Hotel. The campaign also featured stars including Gigi Hadid, Frances Tiafoe and Carmelo Anthony.

Kelce later revealed that having Wendy appear in the campaign was actually his idea — and Swift was completely on board.

He even described her as a “model dog” and praised how naturally she handled the shoot.

Travis Says She ‘Lights Up My Day’

Kelce has been openly enthusiastic about his new companion.

In an interview with Vogue, he said Wendy “lights up my day” and praised her performance during the fashion shoot.

The normally football-focused NFL star seemed particularly proud of how comfortable Wendy was around the cameras, joking that she was a natural in front of the lens.

And judging by the attention she received, Wendy may already have a fan club of her own.

A Four-Pet Family

Wendy joins Swift’s three famous cats — Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button — bringing the couple’s household pet count to four.
