Fall 2

Rating: 4/5 Heights of Terror
The original Fall (2022) was a surprise hit—a claustrophobic thriller about two women trapped atop a 2,000-foot radio tower. Fall 2: The Descent takes the concept to new heights (and depths) with a premise that’s somehow even more terrifying.
The film follows Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) years after her first ordeal. She’s written a book about her experience, done the talk show circuit, and tried to move on. But the trauma never truly fades. When a production company offers her a massive sum to consult on a movie about her story, she agrees—only to discover that the “consultation” involves returning to the tower site. And when a helicopter crash strands her and the film crew in a remote canyon, she must find a way out while confronting her deepest fears.

The film shifts from heights to depths, trading the tower for a canyon. The tension is still palpable, with creative use of limited space. A sequence involving a climb up a sheer rock face at night is genuinely nerve-wracking. Currey brings emotional depth to the role, portraying a woman haunted by her past but determined to survive.
The Verdict: A worthy sequel that expands the concept without losing the original’s tension. If heights scared you in the first one, canyons will terrify you here.
Final Thought: Some fears don’t go away. They just find new ways to trap you.
