HOSPITAL staff endured a shift from hell when a blood-soaked woman arrived with a newborn baby — only for doctors and nurses to discover she had never given birth.

One of America’s most gruesome crimes then began to unravel before their eyes in real time, as killer Taylor Parker lay in a bed nearby refusing to admit the truth.

Parker, 33, is now on Texas death row after being convicted of capital murder in 2022 following the death of her pregnant friend, Reagan Simmons-Hancock, and Reagan’s unborn child, Braxlynn Sage.

The sickening case is the focus of a new Netflix documentary, Maternal Instinct, which was released yesterday, and includes heart-wrenching interviews and new details.

The U.S. Sun has obtained full bodycam footage of the frantic moments doctors and nurses realized all was not what it seemed after Parker claimed she’d given birth at the side of the road.

She’d been rushed to McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma.

A nurse is seen loudly talking about trying to prove the baby isn’t hers, before a colleague begins to whisper, telling her, “Stop for a minute.”

Around five staffers are seen standing around nervously as one then states, “This is a big deal.”

For several months, Parker had tried to convince her boyfriend, Wade Griffin, his family and friends that she was carrying his first child.

She walked around wearing a fake baby bump, showed off forged ultrasounds, threw a gender-reveal party, and announced what she was calling the baby.

But prosecutors say she began to panic as her alleged due date loomed and people began questioning whether she was really pregnant and trying to contact her family.

Wade’s mother found out she’d had a hysterectomy – but he struggled to believe her, and Parker had an answer for every one of his questions.

On October 9, 2020, she tried to turn her fantasy of welcoming a third child, her first with Wade, into a reality – by murdering one of her closest friends and stealing her newborn baby.

Prosecutors said she drove to 21-year-old Reagan’s home where she hit her with hammer and slashed her more than 100 times with a knife.

Mirroring a scene from a horror movie, she then performed a C-section with a scalpel.

Leaving Reagan’s traumatized three-year-old child behind, Parker then fled the scene with the newborn.

She was followed by state troopers who saw her driving erratically before she ran over a bird, eventually pulling her over at the side of the road.

A distraught Parker told officers that she had just given birth and desperately needed to get to the hospital.

Believing she was telling the truth, a first responder wiped blood from her face – the blood of her victim – and she was taken away on a stretcher while the baby was taken care of.

But as they reached the hospital, the newborn was declared dead, and Parker refused to have an examination as staff worried she would be hemorrhaging.

Inside the hospital room, Parker was placed under close watch while medical staff quickly began to doubt her claims.

The footage shows them looking stunned as one says, “Is she trying to leave?” and begins walking to the hospital room.

“Do not let her go out of that door,” the woman then adds, explaining she should be hemorrhaging but is showing no signs of having given birth.

Three minutes into the video, staffers gather outside waiting for law enforcement amid the quiet chaos.

“Holy f***,” one is heard saying in a hushed tone, after a man tells her they tried to save the baby.

Another nurse walks into the frame, wide-eyed, and asks, “What did we step into?”

They talk about authorities calling the hospital following the discovery of Reagan’s body.

A law enforcement officer then arrives, and the staff member tells him, “She’s in there, she refuses to have a vaginal check to see if she is hemorrhaging.

“They’ve done an ultrasound and [an] hCG,” she added, referring to a test that measures the levels of the pregnancy hormone produced by the placenta.

He asks, “Where is she?” and the staffer explains she is still in a hospital bed and they won’t let her leave.

The staff then explain she had started to worry about the amount of questions she was being asked.

Special Agent Chad Dansby with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is then seen entering the frame with the state trooper as they speak in hushed tones and prepare to grill her.

For more than an hour, Parker is then interrogated as they reveal they have found the body of a pregnant woman and they know the newborn isn’t hers.

“I’m just going to be upfront with you,” Dansby says. “We know that you had a hysterectomy some time back, and you’ve claimed to be pregnant for a while, but you really weren’t.”

The revelation leaves Parker stunned as the elaborate story she had spent months constructing begins to collapse around her.

At trial, prosecutors set out a detailed account of what they said was a sustained period of deception in the months leading up to the murders.

After hearing the evidence, the jury reached a verdict in a little over an hour, finding Parker guilty of capital murder and imposing a death sentence.

In Texas, cases involving the death penalty automatically move into an extensive appeals process.

This typically includes years of direct appeals and post-conviction reviews before an execution date can even be considered.
