NJ babysitter accused of child sex assault whimpers in pink handcuffs — as prosecutor hints at possible plea deal

The New Jersey babysitter who is accused of child sex assault for posting a sick video of a toddler on Snapchat could be getting a plea deal, prosecutors said Monday.
Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, whimpered and appeared on the verge of tears in a Toms River courtroom as she appeared in pink handcuffs during a short hearing.
Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Lynn Juan said that the Snapchat video, which allegedly shows Cranmer laughing as the child touched her private parts, is the primary evidence in the case.

Cranmer is facing charges of sexually abusing a child.
However, at least one other mother whose children Cranmer watched also reported concerns about her, according to court docs.
Juan said that she and Cranmer’s lawyer were working out a plea deal, but needed more time to hammer out the details
The ex babysitter faces charges of sexual assault, manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, possession of child sexual abuse material and endangering.
She faces more than 30 years in prison if convicted of all charges.

Cranmer appeared in court wearing pink handcuffs on Monday.

Cranmer was whimpering and appeared to be on the verge of tears during her court apperance.
