OnlyFans star Courtney Clenney could be out of prison in two years as she cops plea deal in beau’s killing

MIAMI — OnlyFans star Courtney Clenney will serve six years in prison — but could be out in two — for viciously stabbing her boyfriend to death in their posh apartment, as his heartbroken mother said learning of her son’s death was “the darkest day of my life.”
Appearing makeup-free with frazzled hair in an orange jumpsuit, a far cry from her usual glam appearance, Clenney, 30, has been behind bars since Aug. 2022 and could be out of the clink in two years with time served.
She pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to six years in prison after copping a plea deal. If the case had gone to trial, she faced up to 30 years on manslaughter charges in the death of her estranged boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.

Courtney Clenney appears in court for a plea hearing Monday.
“She is taking criminal responsibility for her action, the state is willing to accept her plea,” Miami-Dade prosecutor Shawn Abuhoff told the court after being asked the state’s position by Judge Andrea Ricker Wolfson.
The court heard that the couple’s relationship had been “extremely tempestuous and combative” and that they had been involved in “numerous domestic violence incidents.”
Clenney’s attorneys alleged that Obumseli, 27, was abusive and argued their client was a battered partner.
Obumseli’s family, however, claims that he was the victim of domestic violence.

Courtney Clenney was sentenced to six years in prison Monday as part of the plea deal.
Clenney was arrested in Hawaii — where she was doing a rehab stint for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder — after prosecutors reopened a probe into the fatal stabbing.
In a heartbreaking victim impact statement, Obumseli’s mom, Ocio Obumseli, told the court that she learned of her son’s death when she received a call asking if she wanted his eyes to be donated.
She described it as the “darkest day of my life” and spoke of the pain that the family has endured since.

Clenney, known on her social media platforms as Courtney Tailor, copped to fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.
“Since April 4, I have lived with fear, anxiety, sleepless nights, heartache and more tears than I can count,” she said.
“There was a joy in my life and my family’s life that has never completely returned.
“The loss of Christian did not end April 4; we carry it with us every day.
“Christian, your legacy and your memory will remain with us. We miss you, we love you; may you continue to rest in peace, my son.”
The anguished mother held herself together during the statement but broke down in tears as she returned to sit with other members of the victim’s family, including his brother Jeffrey.
Clenney, who went by Courtney Tailor on social media and boasted more than 2 million followers, was also sentenced to five years’ probation — which she’ll serve 30 years in prison if she violates.
“I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family, thank you for making time to come here today, and I am very, very sorry for your loss,” the judge said, addressing the family.
The Obumseli family’s lawyer Larry Handfield told reporters after the hearing that the guilty plea had given them “closure” after Clenney accepted responsibility.
“I don’t think there’s anything that she could say that can change what happened,” Handfield said.

Grisly crime scene photos show the apartment smeared with blood streaks and splatters after an apparent struggle with the knife caked in dried blood on the floor.

Footage shows Courtney Clenney, 26, attacking Christian Obumseli, 27, on Friday, August 12, 2022, in Miami, according to reports.

Clenney pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to six years in prison after copping a plea deal.
“I think that she should have, at least, apologized, but even her apology would not have removed what she did in April 2022.
“The most important thing is that the family wanted someone to accept responsibility, and the family saw that today,” he added.
“She is a convicted felon for the rest of her life.”
However not everyone at the hearing felt justice was served, including Clenney’s dad, Kim Clenney, who attended with her mother, Deborah.
“There was no wrongdoing by my daughter, or my wife, or I,” Kim Clenney said flatly. “In fact one day in jail is one day too many.”
Asked about claims that the Clenneys had never reached out to the Obumselis to offer their condolences, Courtney’s lawyer, Jude Faccidomo, said it wouldn’t have been “a proper action pending a criminal case.”
“While on its face, that may sound callous, that’s just not something that is regularly done,” the lawyer said.
Faccidomo noted if she had been convicted in a jury trial, she would have faced a minimum of 21 years in prison due to state sentencing guidelines.
“The fact that the state of Florida just extended to Courtney, and the court accepted, a plea that is 15 years below the bottom of the sentencing guidelines tells you everything you need to know about the state’s case,” he said.
“After today, every day that Courtney wakes up is a day closer to her coming home.”
