The family of a 60-year-old man who was reportedly kidnapped from his Chino Hills home and later killed has shared photos of him as more disturbing details surrounding the case continue to emerge.

Shukur Aikebaer, a father of three daughters and a husband, was remembered by his family as a loving and devoted man who was deeply committed to those closest to him. His relatives have launched a fundraising campaign to help cover funeral expenses and support the family following the sudden loss of their primary provider.

According to the family, Aikebaer’s wife and one of his daughters were at home when he was allegedly abducted. Investigators believe the incident may have involved a carefully planned scheme in which the power to the home was reportedly cut before Aikebaer went outside to investigate.

Authorities have identified 67-year-old Zhengfeng Bo of Irvine as the alleged gunman and 66-year-old Jianquan Bo as an alleged accomplice. Investigators believe the suspects may have intended to take Aikebaer to another location or hand him over to someone else.

Witnesses reportedly contacted authorities after seeing the abduction, allowing police to locate the vehicle involved. A brief pursuit followed before the suspects stopped on a residential street.

According to authorities, Bo then approached the vehicle and fatally shot Aikebaer as deputies were present. Police subsequently shot and killed Bo at the scene. Jianquan Bo was taken into custody and is facing charges including murder and kidnapping.

The circumstances surrounding the killing have raised additional questions because of the alleged connection between the victim and one of the suspects. Business records reportedly show that Aikebaer and Zhengfeng Bo were associated with the same company, while reports also indicate that Aikebaer had acted as an intermediary for Bo in connection with a major real estate dispute involving a $20 million apartment complex in Pasadena.

Aikebaer’s daughter, Zilana, remembered her father as an exceptional person whose kindness touched everyone around him.

She described him as the greatest father and said those who knew him considered him a blessing to have in their lives.

The family is now trying to cope with the loss while facing the financial challenges that followed his death. A fundraising campaign has been established with a goal of $100,000 to help cover funeral costs and provide support for his wife and three daughters.

As investigators continue examining the circumstances of the alleged kidnapping and killing, Aikebaer’s loved ones are left to remember a husband and father they described as caring, selfless and deeply devoted to his family.
