A quiet school day in Fagersta, Sweden, turned into a horrifying scene of violence after an attack at Brinell School left a 17-year-old girl dead and two other teenagers seriously injured.

Police were called to the school after reports of an attack involving a bladed weapon. Officers quickly arrived and arrested an 18-year-old male suspect at the scene.

The teenage girl was critically injured and later died from her injuries. Two other young people were also seriously hurt and taken to hospital for treatment.
