Matt Damon Celebrates Daughter’s 18th Birthday With Family at Disneyland
ANAHEIM, Calif. — Matt Damon turned a major family milestone into a magical day at Disneyland, celebrating his daughter Gia’s 18th birthday with his wife and their four daughters.
The 55-year-old actor visited the park with Luciana Damon, Alexia, Isabella, Gia and Stella on Aug. 20, just one day before Disneyland’s annual Halloween Time celebration officially began.
A Special Birthday Celebration
The family posed together on Main Street, U.S.A., in front of Disneyland’s giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin.
They also coordinated their outfits for Gia’s big day. Her shirt identified her as the “birthday girl,” while the rest of the family wore shirts reading “birthday crew.”
The outing offered a glimpse of Damon enjoying some quiet family time after months of international travel connected to his latest movie.

Damon’s Daughters Join His Hollywood Journey
Damon has previously spoken about how much he values having his daughters involved in his travels.
His family recently accompanied him to several international premieres for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, in which Damon stars as Odysseus. He said his daughters have become accustomed to traveling because his work frequently takes him around the world.
“They are seasoned travelers in our family,” Damon previously said, noting that his children enjoy seeing different parts of the world.
The Daughters Are Growing Into Their Own Careers
As his children have gotten older, several have begun developing careers of their own.
Alexia, Damon’s stepdaughter, has pursued photography and videography and worked in the camera department on the 2024 film The Instigators, which Damon made with longtime friend Ben Affleck.
Isabella, meanwhile, recently signed with IMG Models, beginning her own path in the fashion industry.
The family outing therefore wasn’t just a birthday celebration — it was also a rare snapshot of Damon and his daughters at a moment when they are increasingly establishing lives and careers of their own.

Halloween Arrives at Disneyland
The timing of the visit also gave the family an early look at Disneyland’s Halloween transformation.
Halloween Time officially began Aug. 21 and runs through Oct. 31, bringing seasonal decorations, entertainment, themed attractions and fall treats to the resort.
For Damon, though, the biggest attraction appeared to be much simpler: celebrating his daughter’s 18th birthday surrounded by the people closest to him.
After years of movie premieres and international travel, the Hollywood star got to enjoy a very different kind of red carpet — Main Street at Disneyland, with his family by his side.
