A shocking case in Massachusetts has ended with a tragic discovery after authorities found Karen Solomon, the woman wanted in connection with the death of her husband, Worcester Police Officer Kurt Solomon.

Police said Solomon, 58, was found dead Monday after a days-long search. Investigators believe the case is being treated as a possible murder-suicide, with a firearm recovered near the scene where her body was discovered.

The investigation began on August 18, when officers responded to the couple’s Worcester home and found Kurt Solomon, a respected 31-year veteran of the Worcester Police Department, dead inside.
