TikTok Mom “Mama A” and Young Marine Killed in Alabama Crash

MONTGOMERY, Alabama — A 26-year-old mother and popular TikTok creator known online as “Mama A” has lost her life in a two-vehicle crash in Alabama that also claimed the life of a 20-year-old U.S. Marine.

Alyshia Rushing, who had more than 500,000 followers on TikTok, was known for sharing videos about motherhood and everyday family life. She leaves behind four children.

Crash Happened Early Saturday Morning

The collision happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday, August 22, on Interstate 85 in Montgomery, according to authorities.

Rushing was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash. A female passenger traveling with her survived and was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 20-year-old Landon Dunn, a U.S. Marine. He also lost his life in the collision.
