Fast X: Part 2

Rating: 3.5/5 Vroom and Zoom
The Fast & Furious saga continues to defy gravity, logic, and mortality with Fast X: Part 2. This time, the family expands to include a surprising new member: global football superstar CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo) makes his action debut, and honestly? He’s not half bad.
The film picks up immediately after the cliffhanger of Fast X. Dom (Vin Diesel) is presumed dead after the explosion, and the family is scattered. But Dom, of course, is not dead—he’s been rescued by a mysterious figure (Ronaldo), a former special forces operative turned underground racing legend in Europe. Together, they must reassemble the team to take down Dante (Jason Momoa, having the time of his life) once and for all.

Ronaldo brings surprising physicality to his role. He doesn’t have many lines, but he moves like an athlete, and a sequence where he dribbles a bomb through a crowded market (yes, really) is as ridiculous as it sounds. The action is as over-the-top as ever—cars fly, submarines explode, and at one point, someone drives a car through a dam. It’s stupid. It’s glorious.
The Verdict: More of the same, but with a football legend along for the ride. The family is still family, and the cars still defy physics.
