Relatives of the victims killed after a nurse drove 130mph before slamming into them at a Los Angeles intersection stormed out of the courtroom Tuesday after graphic video of an unborn child who died in the wreck was shown during opening statements at the suspect’s trial.

Video of the fiery aftermath was displayed in court to show the carnage left behind when Nicole Linton allegedly drove through a red light and plowed into the victims at La Brea and Slauson avenues on Aug. 4, 2022.

Clips from the scene showed bystanders trying to put out the flames, with the fetus of victim Asherey Ryan flashing on screen.

“The baby was ripped from her womb,” prosecutor Brittany Vannoy said of the pregnant Ryan, 23, who was on her way to a prenatal appointment at the time of the crash, her family said.

Vannoy added that a witness at the scene saw “a little baby flying over her head and lying at her feet,” as images of a car seat holding Ryan’s 11-month-old son, Alonzo, were displayed. The boy also died in the crash.

“She went to go pick him up and realized his neck was broken and screamed, ‘The baby, the baby!’ She tries to perform CPR on Baby Alanzo but it was too late,” Vannoy said.

Family members cried uncontrollably in the gallery as the images appeared, leading relatives to rush out of court.

Vannoy added that a witness at the scene saw “a little baby flying over her head and lying at her feet.”

Linton faces six counts of murder and five counts of vehicular manslaughter for the crash, which killed Ryan and her unborn child, along with Alonzo and her boyfriend, Reynold Lester, 24.

Two other victims, Nathesia Lewis, 43 and Lynette Noble, 38, were on their way to go shopping at a nearby by mall when Linton smashed into their vehicle.

“The defendant killed six people when she drove her Mercedes 130 miles per hour,” Vannoy said.

Prosecutors also displayed graphic photos of the victim’s burned bodies, causing more more family members to leave. “You’ll hear from medical examiner, the bodies were incinerated,” Vannoy said.

Linton has pleaded not guilty to six counts of murder and five counts of vehicular manslaughter.

The prosecution also presented a rambling blog that Linton had written in 2020 in which she expressed her unhappiness about being a nurse.

“I’ve always wanted to be a doctor, they make more money. I also hate doctors. Doctors kill people just like nurses intentionally and unintentionally,” it read.

It went on to reveal her love for smoking marijuana: “How I love weed. I’m tired of using my sisters urine to pass drug tests. I want to smoke blunts my whole life.”

In another dramatic moment came while Tonya Boyd, a woman who attempted to give baby Alonzo CPR after the crash on a gas station convivence store counter, was testifying.

Linton who was wiping tears away during the testimony let out a loud gasp and starting sobbing. The judge immediately ordered the jury out and demanded the defendant “compose herself.”

The jury was ordered back in and Boyd continued, telling them “There was blood coming from the baby’s neck” and that the baby “felt limp, mushy and not alive.”

A horrific picture was shown of the 11 month old sprawled out on the convince store counter with gum, candy, and other items for sale at the mini mart, causing more tears from family members in the gallery.

The man who comforted the family as they wept openly in court, Nagee Ali, told The California Post: “The fight for justice has begun, this was the biggest mass murder in Windsor Hills.”

“People are still traumatized. Six lives were lost. She was selfish then and she is selfish now for making us wait for justice.”

Linton has pleaded not guilty and remains at a county jail under a “no bail” hold.

A neurologist hired by her legal team said the traveling nurse from Houston, Texas had a history of seizures in her frontal lobe that caused bizarre behaviors.

The defense said in its opening statement Linton “was not herself,” the day of the crash, “she was laughing and crying, something was off.”

They also pointed out that Linton did not test positives for drugs or alcohol.

In a bizarre call to her sister in Philadelphia moments before the impact, Linton said: “Pack a lunch for my niece I’m going to take her to school. I’m going to get married to Will Smith, meet me at the alter,” her defense team said.

Prosecutors claim a psychiatric evaluation showed no indication that she suffered a seizure while driving and that Linton “floored” her car for at least five seconds before reaching speeds of 122 to 130mph prior to the crash.

Video footage showed Linton’s Mercedes smashed into multiple vehicles before exploding into a fireball.
