AT least two people have been killed after a shooting at a festival in Toronto.
Cops in the Canadian city initially received reports of an active shooter shortly after 8pm on Saturday – where a huge salsa festival was being held.

An estimated 13,000 people at the festival when the shooting happened
Two people died at the scene and four others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said there had been an exchange of gunfire between two people – and two firearms had been found at the scene.
No arrests have been made and a manhunt is now underway.
Toronto Deputy Police Chief Francisco Barredo described the scene as “very chaotic”.
Both of the victims were men, Barredo said.
He added that the four people who were injured were rushed to hospital with “serious injuries”.
Barredo said there was an estimated 13,000 people at the festival when the shooting happened.

Festival-goers described frantic scenes after the shots were heard, as people charged down the street to escape the violence.
Patsy Gutierrez, who was working at the event, told The Globe and Mail she saw a “a huge wave” of people running.
She added: “Everybody started getting frantic and then we stopped serving. I don’t think it should be something that’s happening in these type of events.”
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said she was “deeply disturbed and angry” by the violence at the popular festival.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said he was “horrified” by the fatal shooting.
He offered his prayers to “families grieving their loved ones, those who are in critical condition, and everyone who has been affected by this horrific event”.
Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, slammed the “senseless violence”.
He said: “The person responsible must be caught, brought to justice and spend the rest of their life behind bars.”
Police said there are three separate crime scenes being investigated in connection with the shooting.
Chief Frank Barto said: “We have now established about three crime scenes and homicide investigators and gun and gang crime investigators are on the scene conducting what is a very complex investigation into what took place.”
The shooting happened in St Clair Avenue, located in midtown Toronto, an area lined with shops and restaurants.
Salsa on St Clair Latin festival is a yearly celebration featuring a host of live music and dance performances.
