Terrifying moment dog sparks deadly house fire by accidentally turning on toaster – killing three other pets

THIS is the shocking moment a dog accidentally turns on a toaster and sparks a house fire that killed three helpless pets.
Footage of the kitchen at the house in Maryland shows golden retriever Bo wagging her tail and scrambling her paws on the counter top.

Mere moments later Bo pads off – but an ominous red glow begins to flicker between the fridge and the microwave.
Thick columns of smoke billowed off the property as emergency crews raced to the home in Belcamp shortly after 5.30pm on Friday.
Firefighters brought the inferno under control in just 20 minutes – but by then it was too late.
Horrifying photos show that parts of the ceiling had caved in as soot-blackened wallpaper peels off the walls.

The emergency services were able to bring the blaze under control in 20 minutes
Shredded insulation was also littered across burnt cabinets and furniture.
Quick-thinking neighbours managed to rescue two dogs – including Bo -from the burning home.
The family’s bearded dragon was also found alive and was rushed to a specialist critical care unit.
But a third dog and two cats tragically perished in the blaze.
Investigators say the fire started in the kitchen – while the owners were out – before spreading to other parts of the home.
Uncovered security footage appeared to reveal the origin of the devastating fire.
Video of the house interior shows one of the family’s dogs leaping onto the kitchen counter where investigators believe the dog accidentally turned on a toaster.
Nearby combustibles quickly ignited and the family mourned that “next to nothing [was] salvageable”.

Officials estimate the blaze caused about $150,000 worth of structural damage and $50,000 worth of damage to the contents of the home.
State fire marshals have determined the cause of the fire as accidental.
The family have since set up a GoFundMe to try and cover some of the crippling costs incurred in the ordeal.
The description reads: “On Friday, July 10, our sister, Shannon, her husband, Chad Ellis, and our nieces and nephew lost their home in a devastating house fire.
“The damage is extensive with next to nothing salvageable.”
