THE heartbroken family of a missing mom of two who vanished in July have revealed a new timeline detailing her exact movements in the lead up to her mysterious disappearance.

Angelica Brophy, a 44-year-old emergency room nurse from California, disappeared at Palomar Mountain State Park on July 6 and hasn’t been since.

Her devastated friends and family have launched multiple search efforts in the last 80 days and have continually failed to find any answers.

Ashley Seitz,a co-worker, has told The U.S. Sun she was searching with a fellow nurse earlier this week and was left frustrated once again as hopes of her recovery grow even slimmer.

But, with help from the Oceanside Police Department, Brophy’s family have released more details about her last known movements.

They say Brophy dropped her daughter off at summer camp at about 9am on July 6 and arranged for a friend to pick her daughter up later that day.

She then drove to a smoke shop in Temecula before heading to Pechanga Resort Casino.

An hour later, Brophy collected promotional chips and played slot machines and table games.

At around 12.15pm, she left Pechanga and drove to Harrah’s Resort Southern California in Valley Center.

Surveillance footage showed her at the casino around 12.45pm, where she played games for several hours before leaving at 3.30pm.

Earlier reporting had focused on surveillance footage showing Brophy leaving Harrah’s and driving toward Palomar Mountain.

Her vehicle’s parking information indicates she arrived at Palomar Mountain State Park at approximately 4.20 pm.

“We confirmed she wasn’t followed out of the casino nor was she followed out of the parking lot, that we know of, that’s visible on the video,” said Martin Fabregas, Brophy’s brother.

According to her family, Brophy’s cellphone was off by the time she arrived at the park.

Sadly, that is her last known activity.

Brophy didn’t return home and missed work, prompting her husband to report her missing at approximately 9.30pm.

Authorities were unable to ping her cellphone, with investigators previously saying it may have been switched off or had a dead battery.

Three days after she disappeared, Brophy’s vehicle was found abandoned in a parking lot at Palomar Mountain State Park.

The discovery triggered a large search involving law enforcement officers, search-and-rescue personnel, drones, K-9 teams, volunteers and other agencies.

A very active Facebook group urged volunteers to help with searches, while the family have been using social media to try and spread the word.

They have also created a website – findangelicabrophy.com – dedicated to finding her.

Search crews covered more than 1,800 acres of rugged terrain and nearby waterways, while dive teams also searched bodies of water in the area.

Divers from California State Parks searched a pond at the park, with the search later continuing with assistance from San Diego Harbor Police officers.

Human remains were found in the same area in August, but authorities quickly determined it wasn’t related to Brophy’s disappearance.

The Oceanside Police Department has said the investigation remains open until Brophy is found, and currently believe there is currently no evidence of foul play at this time.

“We continue to search,” Seitz told The U.S Sun. “I spent Monday morning off trail searching at Palomar with another friend and still no leads. We’re praying that the release of this information helps bring answers.”

Seitz previously revealed the tight-knit group of nurses – which they named the Taco Bellas – have been left heartbroken by the worrying situation.

“Our group of five is extremely close,” Seitz said in the immediate aftermath of her friend going missing.

“We all met when we opened the hospital together.

“We were all night-shift nurses. Sometimes it was chaotic, but often there’d be a lull. We became very close and talked about deeper things.

“Her last message in our group chat was thanking us for being such great friends. But that’s something we did all the time.

“I have four children, so sometimes I’d message the group saying, ‘I had a terrible mom day. Thanks for being there.’ Or after a hard shift I’d say, ‘Thanks for listening. I love you all.’

“We were always expressing appreciation for one another, so it wasn’t unusual. We said those kinds of things all the time. Looking back now, though, it almost feels cryptic.  At the time it wasn’t, but it does now.”

Martin Fabregas, Brophy’s brother, said the family continues to receive information through a website they created for the case, with tips also being forwarded to Oceanside police.

“We are getting a lot of leads through the website we created, and leads have been going to Oceanside PD as well, so we hope that more will come out of this,” he said.

The family is now asking anyone who was at Palomar Mountain that weekend to come forward, particularly anyone who may have photographs, videos or other information that could help establish what happened during the hours after Brophy arrived at the park.

“Maybe people will come forward, people who were actually there voluntarily — yes, we were there that weekend — maybe they can tell us, show us a photo, something,” family member Lisa Fabregas added.

“That’s what we are looking for. We are looking for closure.”
