Two Brit women, 61 & 41, killed alongside eight dogs in horror four-vehicle crash in Romania
TWO British women have been killed alongside eight dogs after a four-vehicle crash in Romania.
The deadly collision involved two trucks, a van and a minibus which was carrying the tragic victims, aged 61 and 41.

Police are investigating the horror which unfolded on the DN 6 road in Caraș-Severin – which is located in west Romania by the Serbian border.
Local cops said: “From the first checks carried out on site, the accident involved two truck- trains and a minibus.
“Unfortunately, following the impact, two women in the minibus died.”
The UK-registered minibus carrying the two Brits also had 10 dogs on board – eight of which were killed.
Traffic blocked on DN 6, between the town of Buchin and the intersection with the town of Valisoara (district. Severin caravan). There was an accident in which a minibus transporting goods was caught between 2 coaches.

Shocking images showed the aftermath of the crash – with emergency services climbing over the mangled wreckage.
Local reports claim the minibus had veered onto the wrong side of the road before smashing into another vehicle.
Paramedics pronounced both victims dead at the scene.
They also treated the drivers of the other involved vehicles, but they were not taken to hospital.
The fatal crash, which caused delays for several hours, is being investigated by cops.
A manslaughter probe has been launched to determine the full circumstances of the ordeal.
It comes after a female racer was crushed to death by a quad bike on a treacherous slope known as “Killer Hill” in Romania.
Katie Hodgson, 24, was competing in the annual Hunt the Wolf moto event on April 11 when she fell during the descent.
In 2019, Hull Coroners’ Court heard Katie came off her vehicle after the rear wheels started to lift, causing her to lose control.
The quad bike then toppled onto Katie causing multiple injuries.
She was airlifted to a nearby hospital but died on the way.
At the inquest, Katie’s family and her partner, Richard Freestone, described her as a “confident rider” who was “full of guts”.
