TWO 13-YEAR-OLD girls have been rushed to hospital after a violent attack at a secondary school in Germany.
More than 15 patrol cars rushed to the Welfen-Gymnasium in Schongau, Bavaria, at around 12.50pm today.

Two girls were rushed to hospital after the incident
Cops said the attacker was armed with a knife and a pistol, both of which have been recovered from the scene.
The alleged attacker, a 16-year-old Croatian citizen boy, has been arrested, police said.
Cops have since confirmed that at least two female students, both 13, sustained serious injuries.
Several victims are understood to have stab wounds but the “number of people involved and the severity of the injuries” are still being clarified.
Police previously told local media the attack may have been a shooting spree, but there are currently no reports victims were shot.
A spokesperson said cops believe the incident was a “rampage”.
Upper Bavaria South Police station wrote on X: “We are currently assuming the perpetrator acted alone.
“There is no indication of any other accomplices.”

The suspect is most recently known to have been living with his parents, Bavaria’s interior minister said, though he did not confirm if he had links to the school.
Minister Joachim Herrmann said the suspect had previously received psychiatric treatment.
The horror attack reportedly took place during school hours, on the grounds and outside the high school.
Dramatic footage shows police in riot gear running onto the school grounds as shocked witnesses watch on.
According to German outlet Bild, the suspect fled the scene.
Six police helicopters were deployed in a search and the alleged perpetrator was apprehended shortly after.
Security sources initially reported four injuries, but the exact count of those wounded is not yet clear.
According to ADAC air rescue, a total of six helicopters are in operation. One of the helicopters has transported injured people to a hospital.
A contact point has been set up at the fire station on Bahnhofstrasse for students’ families.
Schongau is a small town on the banks of the Lech River, just north of the Alps, with a population of more than 12,000 people.
A heavy police presence has swarmed the area with forces placed on standby in the neighboring Allgäu region.
In a post on X, the local police force wrote: “A major police operation is underway.
“We are on site with numerous forces.”
A secondary school and a middle school are also located nearby and were not affected.
It comes after two pistol-wielding students opened fire at their own school in the Philippines last month.
Three people died and five were injured when suspects, aged 14 and 15, stormed San Jose National High School in Tacloban city.
Both suspects were arrested and taken into custody by police.
