Vile moment handcuffed sisters, 19 & 21, grin after ‘hacking mother-of-five to death’ in horror broad daylight attack

THIS is the sickening moment two young sisters accused of savagely hacking a mum-of-five to death were seen smiling as police hauled them away in handcuffs.
The pair were nabbed by cops at their home in Texas, just hours after they allegedly stabbed 32-year-old Caroline “Caro” Peña.

Her sister Kitty was also seen smiling at the ground as she was taken into police custody
Amaya Cookie Diaz, 19, and Kitty Mia Diaz, 21, were arrested in Del Rio, a small city near Mexico, with video showing the moment they were marched outside to patrol cars.
Kitty was seen walking barefoot and scantily clad in tiny black shorts and a halter top with an illustration of white hands cupping her breasts.
She appeared to smile quickly at the ground as two officers walked her to the marked police car at 4pm on Thursday.
Her younger sister Amaya followed shortly after, also wearing minimal clothing.

The younger of the two sisters appeared to grin brazenly and giggled after yelling “stop recording” at the man behind the camera.
As police walked her to the vehicle, a small dog followed along behind them.
The pair were put into separate police cars despite being taken into custody at the same time.
The Del Rio Police Department say officers also arrested a third woman, identified as 21-year-old Kyandra Renee Faz, in relation to the broad-daylight killing.

The three women including Amaya (pictured) were reportedly seen on camera with the dead mum during the confrontation

Further details about any alleged motive have not been publicly released.
Independent journalist Michael Elizondo, 44, spoke to the New York Post, saying that he had been tipped off to police activity in the area before rushing to the Diazes’ home.
Once he arrived, he said he started filming before knowing what the girls had been accused of.
Saying that he “didn’t know what was going on, but knew it must be serious” due to the five police cars parked at the front of the house.

“I saw the first girl going into the car, and I thought, ‘Whatever.’ … But the second one caught my eye,” he said.
“That girl was in a happy mood. … She was all smiling, goofing off like nothing happened.”
He revealed that after Amaya had been put in the back of the police car, he “[saw] the window go down and the girl was sticking out her face, sticking out her tongue and goofing off”.
A neighbour later told him that they’d also seen the sisters allegedly “driving recklessly” earlier in the day.
Further footage reportedly shows the shocking moment Caroline faced down the trio outside a drive-through.
The video allegedly shows the mum covered in blood in the moments before she was repeatedly stabbed.
Caroline died from her injuries in a San Antonio hospital at 9pm.
Police were alerted to the brutal attack by medical centre staff and began searching for the women in Del Rio.
The small city has an estimated 35,000 residents.
The trio were each charged with murder and transported to a local jail, according to police.
Kitty’s social media shows she is the mother of a young son.
“My son is about to be 4 years old and still a only child,” she captioned a TikTok clip showing the boy earlier this month.
