Wyndham Clark’s Girlfriend Reveals Huge Relationship Step as Golf Star Heats Up at BMW Championship

Wyndham Clark is making major moves on the golf course — and now his relationship with girlfriend Emily Tanner is taking a big step of its own.
Just before Clark took control of the BMW Championship, Tanner revealed that the couple is officially moving in together, trading her life in Los Angeles for a new chapter with the two-time US Open champion in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tanner, a model originally from Detroit, shared the news on Instagram while documenting the painstaking process of packing up her belongings.
It reportedly took her three days to get everything together.

“I have lived in California for five years and honestly, I never thought that I would leave here,” Tanner said while packing.
But falling in love apparently changed the plan.
“I think one of the most special parts about falling in love is realizing that the life you pictured for yourself can completely change when you find someone that you want to build it with,” she said.

After months of essentially living out of a suitcase while traveling, Tanner said she was thrilled to finally settle down with Clark.
“After months of living out of a suitcase, I am so excited that I finally get to live with my best friend and start our new chapter together,” she wrote.
Clark couldn’t resist teasing his girlfriend in the comments.
“Where are you moving??? 😏” he joked.
Tanner responded with a coy wink.
The timing of the relationship news couldn’t be better for Clark.
The 32-year-old golfer entered the BMW Championship in St. Louis riding a scorching run and sitting atop the leaderboard after two rounds. He fired consecutive 6-under 64s at Bellerive Country Club to build a one-shot advantage over Gary Woodland.

By the third round, Clark had stretched his advantage even further, entering Sunday with a five-stroke lead over Rory McIlroy after shooting 5-under on Saturday.
Clark and Tanner first went public with their relationship at the Masters in April, where the golfer jokingly referred to her as his “good luck charm.”
Since then, the pair have rarely been far apart.
Their romance has also unfolded alongside one of the biggest stretches of Clark’s career.
In June, Clark captured his second US Open title at Shinnecock Hills, celebrating on the 18th green with Tanner before sharing a kiss with her after the victory.
Tanner has also begun embracing Clark’s world of golf.

She recently shared a glimpse of a Sunday spent with the golfer that included a farmers market, church and — naturally — golf.
“Yes I will be taking lessons soon,” she joked.
And with Clark currently tearing through the BMW Championship, Tanner may soon have plenty more reason to get comfortable around the course.
For the couple, however, the biggest victory this week may have nothing to do with the leaderboard.

After months of traveling and living out of suitcases, Tanner is finally moving in with her “best friend.”
And Clark appears to have found his own good-luck charm for the next chapter.
